Sometimes copie, or clear inspiration is not all bad especially if the product is well realized. This maxim worth also for pastry, but here more than not being bad at all it is also delicious. Last summer I was with my family in Marseille and one of my cousin was with us. Coming from marseille I had to show her my city and its richness. The beach, the old harbour, the see we visited everything. But then came snack time, and before I see anything I was sitting in a starbucks.
Autumn is well and truly here. I do not know abroad, but here is the sky grey again, leaves are getting ochres and the temperature went low… Surprisingly I didn’t see it coming, just as it cames from a day to another. But Autumn isn’t such a bad thing. On the contrary it is a good thing, because now we can eat apples, pears and so much fruits again.
As I was writting it in my previous article, crepes came with some spreads. You already know 2 of them, the chocolate haselnut and the Caramel one.Both recipes come from the great Christoph Michalak and become always a great success by my friends. But the third one is almost unknown in France, but also really liked when I propose. Despite its creaminess and its bitter sweet flavour the Lemon curd is not so famous in France. As I love citrus, it is always a pleasure to have some on a slice of bread.
It ha been almost already 9 month that I did not write on my blog. 2016 has been a complicated year for me and I did not have the strenght and neither the discipline to write one article per week. But do not worry I did not lose the envy to bake and try new recipes. I guess it would have bee too hard not to bake anything. For me it is an habit but also a real pleasure so often shared with my friends.
So you saw the title and you just said yourself, a peanut butter chocolate chips cookie, déjà vu! It is true, there is already a recipe on my blog, but not the one of Eric Kayser. And now you think this is a trickery. Soon you’ll just have to copy an other post and change the name, Bim here is an other Article. But I say NO! this recipe is similar but the texture and taste are different.
New year implies to keep up the good habits. It is not because we are in 2016 that I won’t continue what I started, and for that I tried a new cookie recipe. I you rode some of my other articles you might know that I really like such kind of dried biscuits. When I say dry, of course I mean the kind of biscuits without any cream or filling, biscuits you can put into your bag and bring everywhere you want. And of course share them, or not!
It is already January and the occasion for me to whish you a happy New Year 2016. Be this year full of good food and desire to bake. But no excess! You can’t blame me for breaking your good resolutions. During this new year you’ll have to enjoy but in a balanced way. A bit of sport, a bit of pastry and this new year will be marvellous.
Is there a better idea than bake cookies? I don’t think so. I guess I already told it but for me cookies are kind of the perfect pastry. It is so simple to bake, so simple to carry and so simple to share. Cookies are the kind of biscuits I often bake when I meet my friend, and it is always a huge success. With this recipe I even brought some to my dentist, wanting to show that sugar isn’t so bad!
So Creamy and so soft, the Tiramisu is a great dessert to finish a meal. And on the top of that there is also chocolate in it ! I made that recipe as some friend came home to eat. As always they are my guinea pigs, and try all the dessert I bake. But do not worry, they are doing well, and as far as I know they really liked it.
